I would have to say that Voice Thread could be a very useful tool in a classroom. It is something that I could have my students do. It helps them create their own stories, and gives them a different opportunity to present it to the classroom. Also, it allows them to use their imagination and their creativity. Also, my students could take a story that already exists and create a Voice Thread for it. This allows them to use different technologies in the classroom, and lets them see different aspects of technology. Also, my students could take a story that already exists and create illustrations for it. This would, again, allow them to use their imagination and creativity. They could present their illustrations for the story to the class via Voice Thread.
Not only could my students use it in the classroom, but I could use it, as well. I could take a story that already exists and create a Voice Thread for it. I could scan the pictures and then read it to the Voice Thread. I could play the Voice Thread for the class, and present it to my students that way. This way we are still covering the stories that they need to have, and possibly save time. While the Voice Thread is playing I could be working on something, or working with individual students. This could allow me to be more efficient and have better time management in the classroom, because I am not spending personal time reading a book. Rather, the Voice Thread will be there for the students. Voice Thread is something that can be used in many different ways.
